I am always looking out for unique handbags to dress up my outfits. With winter still hanging on, I’m not quite ready to break out my white or beige handbags for everyday use. The beautiful gray suede mini bag from New York designer Rachel Nasvik is a great bag to carry on my arm into Spring and Summer. I like how the contrast of turquoise against the cool gray would look amazing worn with jeans or with classic black pants. 

Nasvik’s signature design of vintage-meets-modern is evident in the bag’s gold chain links and the small chic shape. Her handbags usually retail for over $400. The more affordable design is exclusive to Target’s Red Hot Shop and is available for around $80.

Target will celebrate the fifth anniversary of GO International fashion this Spring. Thanks to the collaborative efforts with several up-and-coming designers, the retailer has introduced us to amazing collections from popular names, such as Proenza Schouler and Alice Temperley. These designers have become fixtures on our fashion radars.

To commemorate the fabulous fashion, Target will re-launch over 30 styles from 17 of the past GO International designers. The GO International Collective will feature dresses from favorites, including Alice Temperley, Richard Chai, Thakoon, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Libertine and Behanz Sarafpour, Erin Fetherston and Libertine. The limited-edition collection will be available at most Target stores and Target.com, starting March 13 through April 10. Prices will be very affordable, ranging from $24.99 to $44.99.

If you missed out on the chance to buy a fabulous dress from one of Target’s GO International collections, you are going to get a second take next year! The retailer recently announced that it will feature a line of 34 pieces from previous guest designers, including Zac Posen, Tucker, Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Erin Fetherston, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith and Rodarte. The exclusive collection is a celebration of the fifth anniversary of Target offering affordable luxury, and will be available in Target stores and at Target.com on March 13 through April 13, 2011.

I can’t wait to see what fab designers Proenza Schouler and Libertine come up with, as I missed them a few years ago when they debuted their clothing lines at Target. Also, I am looking forward to checking out the selections from my favorite collaborators, Alice Temperley, Richard Chai and Thakoon. What designer are you looking forward to?
