Product Runway promises to be the fashion event of the year for the Puget Sound design community in Seattle. The fashion show will be held on Friday, August 28th at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, and will feature 18 leading interior designers, architects and students. Judging the event will be Project Runway alumni Kevin Christiana and Jack Mackenroth, who fans will remember from the show’s 4th installment.
The runway show will exhibit couture garments constructed from a diverse range of materials, such as linoleum, paper, tile, carpeting, lighting, and upholstery. The contestants will include innovative teams from regional firms competing for prizes and bragging rights. An auction to benefit the Seattle Ronald McDonald House will be held at the event. The bidding will include an original dress from designer Jason Wu, who also created the beautiful inaugural gown for First Lady Michelle Obama.
Tickets are still available at www.productrunway.com. Doors will open at 7 p.m. If you are going to be in the Seattle area, don’t miss Product Runway, where fashion meets design.
