A woman can not own too many pairs of jeans in her wardrobe. They are versatile for work or play, depending on how you style your denim. Right now I’m loving the carefree vibe of wide-leg jeans, circa the fashion of the 70′s. The Widelegger Jean in Explorer Wash from Madewell, one of my favorite denim brands, is a great retro fit. The lovely flared leg is amazing and sits comfortably on the waist.

Sunglasses are an essential accessory to your wardrobe not only for function but also for a bit of attitude to any ensemble. A true glamour girl needs to own a pair of 50′s inspired  cat eye sunglasses. My fav styles are Ray-Ban P-Retro Cat Sunglasses available at Urban Outfitters. These wayfarer- inspired sunglasses have a rounded frame with lenses that tint in a darker hue that they appear. The timeless style of the sunnies will appeal to any fashionista.

Long skirts are also a Spring basic for the versatility to look amazing for almost any casual occasion. Hopefully the temps will warm up soon because I can’t wait to wear a mid-calf skirt with a striped tee and wedge heels. The style also works for your office wardrobe, or go for the dramatic for a special evening look and pair your skirt with a tucked-in blouse and a statement necklace. A classic timepiece is a great accessory for an everyday look at the office.Vintage leather watches from Fossil are affordable, and are collector’s item because they look like something that was handed down to you by generation to generation.

Finally, no ensemble is complete without a fabulous handbag. I love that bright colors have such a comeback in this season’s styles. Have fun with bold colors, such as green, yellow or white. The pretty hue acts as a neutral, and goes with almost everything, such as denim, white trousers or khakis. Ready for Thanksgiving

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone already. Whew! The holiday season has officially started, and that means that the festivities are here!
