Fashionistas shopped for their favorite shoe styles at the Step Up to Step Out event at the W Hotel in New York City. Saturday’s shopping frenzy, which was sponsored by DSW Shoes, offered sales of 50 % off retail prices on popular brands, including Chinese Laundry, Manolo Blahnik, Sergio Rossi and DSW’s exclusive line of No. 704b, to benefit the Step Up Women’s Network. Founded 10 years ago, the non-profit organization is dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls.

Actresses Vanessa Minnillo and Gossip Girl Kelly Rutherford (pictured) served as honorary chairs for the event, while guests enjoyed a champagne brunch and style lounges to help them enjoy the benefits of shopping for a cause!

DSW for Fashion’s Night Out

DSW Shoes will participate in Fashion’s Night Out in New York City on September 10. Shoppers are invited to the Union Square location for an evening filled with fun and great giveaways, including the grand prize of a year’s worth of shoes. Visit the store between 6 and 10 p.m. for the chance to win a pair of shoes for every month of the year! Also, DSW will give away one pair of shoes every half hour to a lucky winner. A few days ago, I wrote about a super-fab new line of goods at DSW Shoes. Today I am pleased to share with you fashionistas that the secret label is Gucci! Handbags and shoes from the Italian fashion empire will be available at selected DSW stores, beginning today, August 6. The new selection of accessories will become a regular feature at the DSW stores. Remember to get there early as these items are sure to sell out fast!

The fabulous DSW stores already have a great selection of must-have designs and arm candy in an array of styles. But they are raising the fashion bar even higher with their latest offering from a fierce Italian designer. The covetable goods, including shoes and accessories, will be 60% off of retail prices, starting August 6. The new line, sorry you will have to wait until August 6 to learn the designer, will only be available at selected stores.
