Style your iPad with Color for Spring
Now that you’ve bought the beautifully designed iPad for work or play, you want to keep it looking its best for a long time. I like to keep mine in a leather case to prevent scratches or damage. The case also makes it easier for me to rest the iPad on a table or on my lap for reading. Just like bold colors are popping up on everything from clothes to accessories, you can purchase a colorful case to add a dash of fashion to your technology.
Right now I am liking the bright floral case from Lodis, available for $108 at Lodis.com. The cheerful colors bring Spring’s pretty pinks and oranges tones to my gadget, while the sophisticated craftsmanship of the leather’s texture gives the case a modern edge. Known for its classic leather goods, including handbags and wallets, Lodis has been creating unique styles since 1965 in Madrid, Spain. The tradition of beauty and design sensibility began with a union between Lowe of Spain and designer Dan Segat, and combined their initials to create the fashion house which continues today in the U.S.
New Gucci Guilty for Men Featuring Chris Evans
Last Fall, Gucci created a short film to promote the Gucci Guilty fragrance, which featured starlet Evan Rachel Wood with Chris Evans. The steamy commercial was directed by Frank Miller, whose previous work in films, such as Sin City, captivated audiences. For the Gucci Guilty for Men ad campaign, Miller teamed up again with Creative Director Frida Giannini to make a second film with a masculine edge. The new commercial places Evans front and center as the star. Complete with a rocker leather jacket, a motorcycle and a smashing soundtrack by Bat for Lashes, the new fragrance for him ad is as hot as Evans’ smoldering gaze on Wood. You can watch the video below.
Gucci Guilty is White Hot
The creative genius of Director Frank Miller and Creative Director of Gucci Frida Giannini dreamed up an visualizing ad for the new fragrance Gucci Guilty. The short film stars actors Evan Rachel Wood and Chris Evans. Miller’s previous work in the film Sin City is prevalent in the dark cityscape and the ultra-brightness of fire. With slick images of a blonde Wood driving a white sports car with blazing tires, the ad looks more like a mini-graphic novel. I also love the soundtrack from Friendly Fires, an English band known for putting their own spin on dance punk music. Their cover of Depeche Mode’s Strangelove is really cool. You can check it out below.
