Sad news was heard all over the retail industry this week. American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. announced that they will be closing its retail concept store Martin + Osa. All of the 28  locations are expected to shutter later this year. However, it is good news for fashionisitas like us who love to shop a great sale! New reductions were just taken on sailor-chic items, including denim, floral tanks, sweaters, cargo pants and blazers. The humanitarian efforts are in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity and Cotton Incorporated’s cottonfrombluetogreen.org. The Cotton From Blue to Green denim drive began in 2006 as a marketing initiative to educate college students about the renewable and recyclable benefits of denim.  In the first year, over 14,000 denim pieces were donated nationwide, and were used to help build 30 homes for displaced families of Hurricane Katrina. What a great way to recycle and reuse your denim blues!
