Lanvin for H&M in November
H&M likes to tease us. After posting several videos alluding us as to who was the next designer collaboration, H&M finally gave their fans a confirmation to the guessing game in fashion designers. To maintain the air of mystery, H&M had disguised the voice and facial features of the artist. The predictions ranged from Caroline Herrera to Vivienne Westwood. Then, H&M made their announcement! It’s official! Parisian fashion house Lanvin will create an exclusive collection for the Swedish retailer. The line of womenswear and menswear will be designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver. The new collection will go on sale on November 23 in about 200 H&M stores worldwide.
Also, H&M will reveal the collection to the world through a special film which will be launched on November 2 . The film will be available for viewing at www.hm.com and will give everyone a chance to start planning for the shopping event! Are you excited about the news?
Alexa Chung for Madewell
It seems like ages ago that it was announced that one of my favorite fashionistas, Alexa Chung was collaborating with Madewell for a line of fabulous looks for Fall. Well the wait is almost over! Alexa Chung for Madewell will be available at Madewell.com on September 9 and in stores on September 11. So pumped that the brand started an e-commerce site this summer! I love the store but shopping for their amazing denim was a challenge because of the limited locations. There are more photos of jeans, shorts and sweaters from the fab collection to plan your shopping order.
Brian Lichtenberg for Forever 21
Recently, Forever 21 launched their first designer collaboration with Brian Lichtenberg. The collection of tees and tanks were created with a cool mix of the designer’s edgy aesthetic, as seen on pop singer Lady Gaga, and the chic style of Forever 21. Everything is under $15 and is available now in selected stores and at Forever21.com. The LA-based designer used elements of beauty, such as lipsticks and dripping bottles of nail polish, and bold lettering and graphic patterns for his exclusive line of fashion forward designs for men and women. Watch the behind-the-scenes video at the photoshoot with Forever 21!
