SF: How has your mother inspired you as a person?
AL: My Mother is an amazing artist; which inspired me to be creative from a young age. I have two of her paintings, one of which I have hanging where I design most of my collections.

SF: What is your fondest memory of your mother new or old?
AL: Each Christmas I help my mother make my grandmother’s homemade pizza from scratch, including the dough. It takes all day but it’s so worth it. Any leftovers are fought over the next morning!

SF: What is or was your mother’s style staple?
AL: Some killer David Yurman pieces.

SF: What do you value the most about your mother as her own woman not related to you as a mother figure?
AL: I would have to say the way she carries herself. She is full of class and is calm and collected no matter what the situation. I admire and strive to display those same traits.

SF: What was your mother’s best style tip she ever gave you?
AL: She gave me the best eyeliner tips to make my eyes look amazing. It works, and I use them every weekend when I go out at night.
