Actress and activist Olivia Wilde collaborated with contemporary label Alternative and Campaign Happiness to benefit the school children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Wilde designed a limited-edition canvas message bag, which converts from a backpack style to a cross-body. Proceeds will go to the Academy for Peace and Justice, a secondary school in Haiti.
When she isn’t busy making films- her latest work, People Like Us comes out next weekend- the Irish-American actress offers her support to the rebuilding efforts in Haiti through her organization Campaign Happiness. She co-founded the charity with Barbara Burchfield to inspire people to take action and to share the belief that happiness comes from giving.
The messenger bag is constructed from vintage army canvas, antique brass hardware and a pebbled leather trim. It is available now at Shopbop for $138. Your purchase will help furnish a classroom for the children in Haiti.
