Trade in Your Old Denim at the Gap

Time to clean out your closets! Bring your worn denim – jeans, shorts, jackets or skirts - to the nearest Gap store and receive 30% off of new denim purchases for spring! The cotton in your jeans will be recycled into UltraTouch Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation, which will be used to assist the building of homes for communities in need.

The humanitarian efforts are in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity and Cotton Incorporated’s cottonfrombluetogreen.org. The Cotton From Blue to Green denim drive began in 2006 as a marketing initiative to educate college students about the renewable and recyclable benefits of denim.  In the first year, over 14,000 denim pieces were donated nationwide, and were used to help build 30 homes for displaced families of Hurricane Katrina. What a great way to recycle and reuse your denim blues! The offer ends on March 14, so hurry to a Gap store today!
