Fashion Against AIDS With H&M
Artists and celebrities, including Katy Perry, Dita Von Teese, Moby and Yoko Ono, are playing designers with the creative team at H&M to support the Designers Against Aids (DAA). The limited-edition of T-shirts, T-shirt dresses and vests designs will showcase the celebrities’ drawings and slogans, such as Imagine Peace from Yoko Ono and Girls Just Wanna Have Safe Sex from Cyndi Lauper.
The pretty designs symbolize the 80′s era said Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M head of design, and that the fight against the disase is always important. Twenty-five percent of the sales for the sassy shirts will be donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects.
The celebrities who were involved were very honored to participate in the fashion project against AIDS. “With the purchase of these stylish T-shirts, you can be part of something that makes a huge difference in this pandemic, while looking super-chic,” says Von Teese.
The tees will make their debut for men and women in H&M’s DIVIDED Department on May 28 at most H&M stores.
