Light-weight scarves are definitely everywhere I look this spring, and in a beautiful array of colors and prints. Long scarves are the must-have accessory because they are the perfect compliment to spring blazers and casual T-shirts. To make the look my own, I chose a comfortable fine jersey scarf from American Apparel, (left) $17. The scarf is available in a heather gray stripe, and will add a cool, relaxed vibe to tanks and jeans or a cute dress. If you prefer a unique print, the Japanese Shibori scarf from Urban Outfitters, (below) for $28, is a stylish option. The Shibori print has been prevalent in the spring fashion scene. Fab designer Thakoon Panichgul used the print in several pieces of his exclusive collection for Target, and also in the designs for his Spring Fashion 2009 runway show.
