Ashley Paige Knit Bikinis for Target

Getting ready to bare ourselves for swimsuit season is no easy feat, especially after living under layers of clothing for the last few months. To inspire us to get fit for the casual days by the pool, Los Angeles-based swimwear fashion designer Ashley Paige designed  a capsule collection for Target, called Bikini Love by Ashley Paige. The collection, which is now available on Target.com, consists of 11-pieces, including at least two in her signature crochet style, and one monokini that features a seventies-inspired imprint. Paige’s classic pieces usually go for about $350, so I am pretty excited to see her affordable designs for Target!

In addition to the designs she worked on for the mass retailer, Paige also completed the first season of Bikini or Bust, a documentary show on TLC that follows her company and the challenges she faces being an independent fashion designer. The Florida native began designing bikinis when she was attending college and sold them to friends. Since then, her designs have appeared in several fashion magazines, including Allure and Wedding Style. Paige uses her success to promote animal rescue, a cause that is close to her heart. Through her non-profit organization, RuffHouZen Rescue, she has helped rescue thousands of animals and hosts weekly pet adoptions in her home studio.
