Fashion designer Adam Lippes will create two limited-edition collections for MANGO, the Spanish retailer, for the Spring/Summer 09 and Fall/Winter 09/10 seasons. The contemporary American sportswear designs will be available for both men and women. The collections will feature accessories, jeans, sweaters, T-shirts, chiffon dresses, trousers, and shorts.

Former Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta, Lippes hopes to increase his international audience through the partnership with MANGO. He is the CEO and founder of his own label, ADAM Adam Lippes, and has showcased his creations for several seasons during New York Fashion Week to rave reviews.

The ADAM for MANGO collection for the Spring/Summer 09 should be available at all MANGO store locations, beginning March 1st. If you are unable to visit any of their locations, the items should also be available at Mango.com. The collection for the Fall/Winter 09/10 should be available in early September. The Barcelona-based retailer has already given us fab collections from Penelope and Monica Cruz, so I will definitely be checking out the new line from Lippes.
