It might be the hottest month of summer, but I’m thinking of scoring on a great sale for the best in Fall fashion. Lucky for me, Nordstrom is having their Anniversary Sale!
For the latest from next season, the annual event features brands, such as DKNY, Steve Madden, Vince and Rebecca Minkoff. Now is the time to get that coat or parka for the first chill of autumn’s breeze, along with sweaters, handbags and boots.
Don’t wait too long to shop this sale and stock your closet because prices will increase on Monday, August 3.
It always makes me smile when I hear about a new fashion project from the creative folks at Target. I was pretty excited to read about a jewelry collection coming soon, and even better, that the retailer partnered with sisters who served in our military. Designers and sisters Ashley Jung and Paige Dellavalle founded their jewelry line, Stella Valle after their business venture was featured on ABC’s TV show, Shark Tank.
After winning their funding on the reality show, they pursued their dreams in fashion and design. Calling upon their military background as West Point military cadets and U.S. Army Officers, the women infuse their unique style of masculine and feminine aesthetics into their bold and fun statement pieces, such as geometric metal rings and hand chains.
The collection for Target will be available starting Aug. 4. The line of necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets, will mirror the styles in their signature collections, including Raise the Bar, Move the Chains, Shock Everyone and Be a Star. You will be able to treat yourself to an item or two, because everything is priced under $40.
Who knew fashion and military influences could come together so beautifully? Have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend!
I am so glad to back here blogging! The past year has brought some exciting changes for me and my family. My husband and I bought our first home together, and this year marked our 5 years together as a married couple.
We’ve lived in Minnesota for 5 years now, which I guess means that I should be used to the bitter cold that will likely last through next April. As I bundle up in more layers and try to look somewhat stylish, I embrace the long winter with lots of hot cocoa and snuggles with my dog. In a season of sharing gratitude and blessings, I feel very lucky for all wondrous joys in my life, and look forward to whatever the new year has in store for us.
In other news, I hope to make some changes and blog about more of my favorite things, including art, music, food and fashion, of course. I might play around with a new topic. I would love to continue to share the love with other bloggers and readers. Do you have a topic that you would like me to cover? Feel free to share your suggestions in the comments. Have a fun weekend!
